Many people have asked how are we going to compete with the dollar discount ISP's in the area. We answer that with one word....quality. In the course of the last few months we think we have grown to understand this technologically advanced community and we believe that you are not looking for the cheapest price, but the best quality at a good price. What good is an internet connection if you can't dial in because they are too busy? What good is support when there is no one there to answer the phone? We know what it is like, as we have had accounts with some of the area ISPs and they come nowhere near the quality we are offering.
We want to know if you ever get any busy signals, as this is a sign that you are not getting the service you paid for, and you can call us 24 hours a day seven days a week to let us know.
We have talked at length in newspaper articles about our Silicon Graphics Machines. To give you an idea of what these machines are capable of, just look at the special effects in Terminator 2, Judgement Day. These machines are basically what most Internet Service Providers only dream of operating for their system, for proof of this see The Internet Service Providers Faq a wonderful piece of work done by Dave Dennis.

"SGI is the Mercedes-Benz SL600 of workstations. Classy. Expensive. Slick. Those that use 'em, love 'em. Those that can't afford 'em, hate the fact that they can't afford 'em"
To quote from The Internet Service Providers Faq:

What is a great system without a decent connection? Ever dial into your ISP and you are downloading a file, but then all of a sudden the connection drops? You go to your providers homepage, and it pulls up fine. Hmm, does this mean that
everyone on the entire internet is down except your provider? They would like you to think so.
We maintain a stable T1 connection into the internet, with backups in case of our main going down, and we are not buying our access from an already over-saturated network. If there is a problem with the system, we will likely let you know
by our customers mailing list before you notice there is a problem. We can't guaratee no down-time as no internet provider can, but we can, and will strive for perfection.
We offer 33.6 dial-up, over 16,000 Newsgoups, including local Aiken Newsgroups only accessible through our server, Internet Relay Chat, FTP, e-mail, and of course, the Web.
If you have any questions that haven't been answered here, please feel free to mail me, or call..as we said, 24/7 (twenty four hours a day, seven days a week) 649-0015. thanks, Joe
