What is the Continuing Education Unlimited Consortium? It is a collaborative approach for training rehabilitation and specialized licensed healthcare professionals. Facilities/Professionals join together to group purchase training programs offered by nationally known Expert Trainers for live and in-person instruction in their region resulting in cost savings and convenience.

What are some of my benefits in joining? Besides significant tuition discounts and travel savings, enjoy the ease of sending one check for numerous courses. Plan months in advance for staff coverage. Attend courses in your region. And participate in the selection of courses for the next year.

Are classes approved for CEU’s? Registered certificates are issued for all classes and are appropriate for training by the South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama Licensing Boards for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. MOTIVATIONS Inc is an Authorized Provider of continuing education and training by the International Association of Continuing Education &Training and an American Speech and Hearing Association, ASHA, approved CE Provider.

How are Discount Rates obtained? Consortium Members register and prepay by January 31, 2000 for 7 or more courses to receive the maximum 25% discount off full tuition prices. Facilities, professional groups, or friends are all eligible to form a consortium membership together.

Are there other fees or dues? There are no further fees or dues requirements in Georgia or Alabama. South Carolina based consortium members are required to join the South Carolina Association of Rehabilitation Facilities whose annual dues structure is as follows:

$450 for large facilities(30 FTE’s or more) $300 for medium facilities (11 FTE’s or more)

$150 small facilities or Individual Group $ 50 Individual Professional membership

What if I only want to attend one or two courses?

Non-members of the consortium are welcome to attend at the full rate.

Where are the classes held? All classes will be held in one of three cities: Columbia, South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, or Birmingham, Alabama. Once you enroll, detailed brochures will be mailed listing location and directions. Lunch and break refreshments are provided at all classes.

How do you record and report the balance in our consortium account? Quarterly Financial reports are mailed to show the detailed use of your funds and remaining balance for the year. Substitutions for individuals attending & additional course purchases are simple once you are enrolled.

What is the cancellation policy? Consortium members are offered discounts in consideration of their commitment to support course participation. Therefore, payments for prepaid slots are non-refundable. However, slots may be reassigned to other individuals. Non-members who pay full price are entitled to full refunds.

How do I join the Consortium? Register and pre-pay for 7 or more courses by completing the enclosed enrollment form and enclose a check(s) for the total amount by January 31, 2000.
