ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Many family members have contributed to the information contained in the
KINGERY database. I am especially thankful to the following:
- Abel, Jim & Lettie Lou Kingrey, Kingwood, TX. Jim
& Lettie are from a Kingery (Kingrey) line that left
Wilkinson Co., Georgia early on and moved to Louisiana.
- Akins, Alma Iris Kingery, Statesboro, GA. Iris provided
information on her grandfather's (Andrew Jackson Kingery)
line.
- Boles, Terry Clifton & Janie Lynn Kingery, Dallas, TX.
Janie is my first cousin, once removed.
- Chesley, Marleen, Mission Viejo, CA. /\/\arleen provided
the clue necessary for me to link my Kingery line to the rest
of the world of Kingerys.
- Kingery, Andrew J., Lake Geneva, WI. I was sorry to learn
that Andy has passed away. He was the sole source for a
second Kingery database containing information on those lines
that migrated into the midwest.
- Kingery, Christian Everett, Lincoln, NE. Chris is willing
to step into Andy's shoes and help with the Midwest Kingery
lines. Thanks, Chris.
- Kingery, Neora Caroline Cargill, Peyton, CO. Neora is the
widow of William Harmon Kingery. She contacted family members
and provided me the information on William's line.
- Lawson, Nancy Kingery, Albany, GA. Nancy provided
information on the Abraham Thomas Kingery line.
- Peacock, Jean, Twin City, GA. Jean helped with
information on the Johnson Beauregard Kingery line.
- Peddie, Christina "Tina" Cushing Keene, San Miguel, CA. I
met Tina on the 'net while research my wife's line. Tina
enlightened me as to how my wife and I are distant cousins! Tina has done a lot
of work with the Keen(e) line and continues to be extremely helpful.
- Peterman, "Tiny", Dothan, AL. Tiny's Bryant Kingery line
also left Georgia early. She and I are working on
reconciling our genealogical differences, where they exist.
- Rocker, Willard Lamar, Macon, GA. Willard is the major
source of the information on the Jacob Rocker line.
- Rogers, Charles DeWitt, Jr., Clermont, GA. Charles
provided me a copy of a handwritten journal, maintained by
Zada Ann Kingery Hardee, detailing her Kingery line.
- Rowell, Patricia Paddock, Penn Valley, CA. With cousin Pat's
data, we can now trace our lineage back to Christian GUNGERICH,
b. Abt. 1630, of Steffisberg, Canton Berne, Switzerland.
- Zuccarini, Grace Genelle "Jennia" Wood, Savannah, GA.
Jennia has a vast knowledge of the early Kingery family in
Wilkinson Co., Georgia. She graciously allowed me to look
over her shoulder for much of this early data. She continues to
"keep me straight".
