Horror Flix Reviews

Scream
1996
Featuring Neve Campbell, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan, and Courtney Cox

4/5

Review: Scream is an excellent horror slash thriller that has lots of laughs and an original plot with a good motive. Scream is about a group of teens who live in a small town called Woodsboro. In this town there is a killer who is killing teens. There are so many suspects you don't know who it is till the end. I highly recommend this film that has boosted a lot of good actors and actresses couriers. Wes Craven made an awsome film when he made this and now he has another incredible movie to add to his horrific arsonal. I give it an A-.

Scream 2
1997
Featuring Neve Campbell, Jamie Kennedy, and Courtney Cox

4/5

Review: Scream 2 was suprisingly just as good as the first  but not better. If you made me choose I don't know what I would pick . Wes Craven did it again with another great sequal. It will suprise you to the very end. When the killer is revealed you won't beleave it. This time Sydney(Neve Campbell) and her friend from the original Randy(Jamie Kennedy) are away ay college. More blood, but not quite as much gore but enough to satisfy your needs. You will love this movie you have my guarantee. You will want to watch it over and over again. Hopefully the third coming out in 1999 will beat the first and second. This is a trilogy that will rock your world. I give it an A-.

Blade
1998
Featuring Wesly Snipes and Stephen Dorf

5/5

Review: Blade is probably the best movie that I have ever see except for The Matrix maybe. Both of the movies have simular stunts and I think that is why I like them both so much. Blade is a rollercoaster ride to the end baby with action almost every scene. Awsome sword fights with awsome villans that you like to hate. These character are played so well and hopefully the sequal in the year 2000 will be better. It sure does have alot to live up to though. This gets an A++.

From Dusk Till Dawn
1996

Featuring George Clooney, Quinten Tarintino and Salma Hayek

4/5

Review: From Dusk Till Dawn was produced by the director of Desperado. This was truly a kick @$$ movie. George Clooney makes the best bad good guy. The situation is that George Clooney and Quinten Tarintino are two robber/murderer/brothers who escape to Mexico to come to a bar called the Titty Twister to find it is infested with vampires who feed on the truckers who come in there.  Salma Hayek puts on another hot an dawesome job with the rest of the crew. Robert Rodriguez did an awesome job producing and directing this movie with Quinten Tarintino. I definately suggest you see From Dusk Till Dawn. It gets a A-.

The Faculty
1998

Featuring Elijah Wood and Josh Harnett

4/5

Review: This movie was an Horror/Sci-Fi/Actoin. This movie was also from Robert Rodriguez. Rodriguez always seems to do an awesome job on his movies. I like the idea of high schoolers being attacked by something deadly and mean.  This was a funny movie with horrific science fictional action. I think it was very good because it was written by the creater of Scream and Scream 2. Kevin Willamson also wrote I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequal with a bigger title. The thing I like about The Faculty is that it has an ending you won't believe. I give it an A-.

I  Know What You Did Last Summer
1997
Featuring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Philipe

3/5

Review: I Know what you did last summer was a good just like the sequal and din't do to bad in the box office . It did not have the most original plot but it was made well. It is the same old killer stalks teenagers for a death of a realitive that wasn't their faul. It had good acting and hot chicks. I give it a B-.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
1998
Featuring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy Norwood, and Rae Bronson

3/5

Review: I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is a sequal to I Know What You Did Last Summer and I found the first one to be just as good but not better. The idea of a killer with a big hook is so redundant and worn out.   Another thing I did not like was  how obvious the killer was. It was a case of killer dies in first one comes back in second with help of family member. The acting was not corny and the movie had a good cast but the plot boring and dull and way to predictable and that is why I am going to give this movie a B-.

An American Werewolf In London
1981
Featuring David Naughton and Griffin Dunne

4/5

Review:An American Werewolf In London to me is a classic horror movie even though it did not get five out of five.  David Naughton does a great job of playing an American in denile of being a werewolf in London. Amd Griffin Dunne does a great job as David Naughton's dead best friend in the movie. An American Werewolf In London is about two New Yorkers who are hitch hiking through London when a werewolf attacks both of them killing one, Griffin Dunne, and bites the other one, David Naughton. By biting David Naughton's character and not killing hime David Naughton becomes a werewolf. The best parts of this movie are the parts when the David Naughton is becoming a werewolf or the werewolf is eating someone. The scene when Griffin Dunne dies and gets eaten quite frankly , awesome. The make up and special effects of this movie are great thanks to make up artist Rick Baker. Rick Baker is responsible for make up and special effects of Men In Black, The Howling, and Mighty Joe Young. All of these movies have amazing make up in them. Over all  An American Werewolf In London is amzing and it is as good as its sequal but not better. It gets an B+.

An American Werewolf In Paris
1997
Featuring Tom Everett Scott and Julie Delpy

4/5

Review: An American Werewolf In Paris was a remake or sequal to An American Werewolf In London. Both were quite amazing in effects and acting. Tom Everett Scott had only done one movie before this and it was good too. It seems to me this was a great achievement for his second movie. The effeacts in this one were pretty amazing with the transformation from human to werewolf. This time in the movie it pointed to a younger audience. It was quite amaziing though. In this movie there is a group of three college student touring Europe when they save the life of a lady werewolf in human form. When Tom Everett Scott gets bitten and becomes a werewolf and has to kill the werewolf who bit him to become human again. This movie ha comedy, romance and terror. Everything a good movie is made up of. It gets a B+.

Halloween H 20
1998
Featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, Josh Harnett, and Michelle Williams

3/5

Review: People did not expect much from this movie when it came out. The advertising was overdone for how good it is. But, H 20 was a fairly good movie even though it is the sixt sequal and only about an hour and twenty minutes long. I was no to happy woth Kevin Williamson for the way he wrote the script. In the movie it gets straight to the killing. I am not saying I don't like that. I just think that Kevin Williamson could have done a lot more with the script than just get right tpo the killing with out even giving big Mike a motive besides the fact he is psycho. One thing I did like about the script is that they did not try to drag on a eighty minute script into a one hundred twenty minute script. It gets a C+.
