Something About Mary
Featuring Ben Stiller, Cameron Diaz, Chris Elliot, and Matt Dillon
Review: Something about Mary has to be one of the funniest films ever made. It is about guy who had a crush on a girl in high school and still does. This movie will keep you laughing all the way through it. Ted (Ben Stiller) is the person who still has a crush on Mary(Cameron Diaz). He finds out that Mary has moved and he goes to Florida to find her> The scenes in this movie are so incredibly funny you won't believe them. I recommend this movie more than any other comedy. This movie gets an A+.
The Three Amigos
Featuring Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Alfonso Arau
Review:Three Amigos is a classic comedy to me. It is nonstop laughter all the way through. Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short put on one of the best shows ever. I don't think that I can find anything funnier than this or Something About Mary. You have my guarantee that this will make you laugh. If it doesn't then too bad you don't know good comedy if you see it. I give it an A+.
Featuring Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and John Candy
Review: Stripes is a great film with a great cast It has Bill Murray as John Winger and Harold Ramis from Ghost Busters as Russel Ziskey. Itis a film that deserves it four out of five comedy heads. it is about two nobodies who join the army and become good soldiers. I also guaratee this one too. I give this a B+
Featuring Adam Sandler, Henry Winkler, and Kathy Bates
Review: This was a funny and good movie with something a little new to it. The Waterboy is about a man whose name is Bobby Boucher (Adam Sandler) and Bobby has been a waterboy technically all of his life. One day he gets fired from his fancy college team and goes to some type of backwoods team with no talent. The team has no talent and Bobby one day tackles a player when he got mad at him. The coach (Henry Winkler) convinces Bobby to play football secretly and help the team. This film was filled with laughter and comedy and I recommend it to anyone who needs a laugh. I give this movie a B-.
Dead Man On Campus
Featuring Tom Everett Scott, Mark Paul Gosselaar, and Corey Page
Review: Dead man on campus was a new and original film with some good acting from Tom Everett Scott and Mark Paul Gooselaar. This movie if you haven't heard is about two college freshman who have to get their room mate to kill himself. The reason for this is that Tom Everett Scott's character Josh is on an acedemic scholarship. He finds out he was partying to much and flunking and not keeping the B+ average he needs to stay in school. The rule at their college is that if your room matw kills themself you get straight As. There is action and comedy. Okay not really action but it is good. While going through the process of getting their room mate to kill himself they have laughs, car chases and loads of omedy. I highly reccomend this movie to anyone. It gets an A-.
Featuring Trey Parker and Matt Stone
Review:BASEketball, what can I say about BASEket ball. BASEketball was funny in some sick ways and had some good humor to it that is why it got three. Baseketball is a movie about two guys who try to start a sport where players cannot be traded and teams cna't be bought. It was a good movie that was pretty funny. It gets a C-.
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Featuring Mike Meyers, Elizabeth Hurley, and Seth Green
Review:Austin Powers was an interesting movie that was very original. Mike Meyers starred, wrote and produced this movie. Austin Powers is basically a take off on James Bond. Mike Meyers plays two people in the movie. He plays the good swinger british secret undercover agent Austin Powers and the infamous Dr. Evil. In the movie Austin Powers is a secret agent in Britain who gets chriogenically frozen for thirty years. So does evil opponent Dr. Evil. They meet in the future in 1997 when Dr. Evil threatens to blow up the world unless paid one hundred billion dollars. This movie showed originality and was bad for Mike Meyer's fourth movie in which he wrote and starred in. I give Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery a C+.
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Featuring Mike Meyers, Heather Graham, and Seth Green
Review:I am going to start off honest. This movie was flat stupid. But this movie was flat stupid in a funny way. Mike Meyers came back this time o stop the infamous Dr. Evil and one eighth size clone of him from blowing up the world in the movie. This was not original like the first of course because it was a sequal but it had its funny moments with Mini Me the one eighth size clone of Dr. Evil. This movie had new humor but was still not as funny as the first. I don't recommend that they make a third becuse the idea would be really worn out and it would give me another thing to complain about. I have to say that I liked Mike Meyer's new character Fat Bastard. Fat Bastard is a one ton scottish lad who steels Austin Powers mojo. I did not expect much from this movie and I did not get much from this movie so it gets a C-.
So I Married An Axe Murderer
Featuring Mike Meyers, Nancy Travis and Anthony Paglia
Review: This one of Mike Meyers' movies that he wrote and starred in. I found it to be funny and worth while. There was a great job done by Nancy Travis. This movie is about a poet who has women problems and finally finds the one he wants to marry and ,arries her. Right after the wedding he starts to think that she is a axe murderer that his mom read about in a supermarket tabloid. He ends up facing her and finding ou the truth after a long line of events. A few of them are he gets chased on a roof, locks his wife in a closet on their honeymoon and is nearly killed. This movie was another original ffrom Mike Meyers and I am happy to have seen it. I know many people haven't. It gets a B-.
A Night at the Roxbury
Featuring Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan
Review: When I first saw the preview for this movie I thought that it was going to be stupid and pointless like the skit on Saturday Night Live. I thought it was going to be a stupid movie with to stupid guys shaking their heads for an hour and a half. It wasn't a stupid movie. The characters that were played by Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan were stupid but they made the movie funny. It was not just two stupid guys trying to dance. That was a large part of the movie but not quite it. That was basically the plot but not the whole movie. A Night at the Roxbury had good humor in it and was not just like the Saturday Night Live skit. I give it a B-.
Featuring Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern and Bruno Kirby
Review: City Slickers to me was almost a classic. Billy Crystal does a great job playing a yankee who has no idea in hell what is doin on this huge cattle drive. The movie City Slickers is about a man who works at a radio station who decides to go on a cattle drive for his birthday. He goes on the cattle drive with his friends who signed him up for it. Daniel Stern does an excellent job as a sensitive and winy divorcee. the whole cast was great and so was the movie even though it did not score the highest it can. On this cattle drive they discover friendship, humor and lots of adventure. It gets an A-.
City Slickers 2: The Legend of Curly's Gold
Featuring Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern and Jon Lovitz
Review: I don't think that they made a mistake by making a sequal to the first. City Slickers 2 wasn't bad at all and I enjoyed watching it more than once. This time instead of Bruno Kirby there is funny man and Saturday Night Live veteran Jon Lovitz. Jon Lovitz brings to the movie comedy that no one else could. He adds sick and slapstick comedy. Just the conversations between the group of three in this movie are funny. In the second adventure Jon Lovitz, Billy Crystal and Daniel Stern are off to find the gold of the dead leader of the cattle drive the went on. This movie is filled with snakebites, hicks and humor. It was better than the first, but not by much. I think that the relatoinship between Jon Lovitz and Billy Crystal who play brothers in the movie. It gets an A.
Featuring Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash and Brittany Murphy
Review:What did you think when you saw the preview for clueless. I don't know about you but I thhought it was going to be stupid and pointless. Once again I thought wrong. Thsi movie was very good and they picked the right cast for the right job. They got Alicia Silverstone doing what she does best. I was suprised at how good Stacey Dash did after reviewing her old roles in movies like Mo' Money with Damon Waynes and Renaissance Man with Danny DeVito. You wouldn't think tht she could play such a young character at the age of 29. I think that Brittany Murphy did a good job as Tai consideriing that it was her second moviethat was not broadcast on television. The character were picjed and played well. The movie is about teenage life in the rich parts of California. The movie involves laughs, romance and blondes. I give it a B-.
In the Army Now
Featuring Pauly Shore, Andy Dick and Lori Petty
Review:I have to say that Lori Petty has been good in every movie i have seen her in. I think she did a great job in Point Break and tank girl. I think she could do real well with a more serious role. Pauly Shore did another good job with this other goofy part. I liked Andy Dick's role in this movie and it has been the only role I have seen him in. I hope to see him do a good Job in Inspector Gadget when it comes out July 2nd. Thsi movie is about two guys who get fired from a stereo store and join the Army Reserve. Their plan to use the money they earn from the reserve to open up there own stereo store is derailed when they have to go to war in Lybia. It is filled with laughter and I give it a C+.
She's All That
Featuring Freddie Prinze Jr , Rachael Leigh Cook and Paul Walker
Review:I rented this movie with fear that it would not be my type of movie. I thought that She's All That would be a goody, goody chick flick. When it turns out I was wrong this is a movie that everyone can watch. It will make you laugh your head off. I knew Freddie Prinze Jr. was good when he started acting in movie that Kevin Williamson wrote. But in this movie he shows a funny side, a soft side and a serious side. Rachael Leigh Cook played a bigger and better part than she did in the movie carpool. I thought that whole cast was good. Including cameo Usher Raymond. She's All that just does a good job of expressing itself and that I like. B+.
Featuring James Vander Beek, Paul Walker and Scott Caan
Review:I found this movie to be a comedy and a drama both. I was truly amazed by James Vander Beek who is a young and talented actor and star of Dawson's Creek. In this movie I picked a favorite character and that character is Tweeder played by Scott Caan. He is the one who made the movie funny. It was a group effort but Scott Caan or " Tweeder " was the backbone of the comedy. This movie is about an amazing quarterback who plays second string on a highschool football team in a small football town in Texas. ames Vander Beek becomes the star player when the first string player messes up his knee. I was really amazed by actor Ron Lester who played Billy Bob in the movie. I thought Ron Lester did good because he has only been in three movies and his first and most famous role before Varsity Blues was " Spatch " in the movie Goodburger which you can find under Gsarbage Flix. I give Varsity Blues a A-.
